Terms of Use

By accessing or using the Obitron platform ("Platform"), whether as a buyer or a vendor, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Platform.

Obitron is an online marketplace that connects buyers with verified spare parts vendors. Obitron does not own, stock, or manufacture any products listed on the Platform. All products are listed and managed by independent vendors who have been vetted and approved by Obitron.

You must be at least 18 years of age to use this Platform. By using the Platform, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate and truthful.

Users are required to create an account to place orders or list products. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Obitron reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these Terms.

Vendors approved on the Platform agree to list only genuine and accurately described products; maintain up-to-date stock and pricing information; package orders using Obitron-branded packaging as required; and mark orders as ready for pickup promptly upon receiving an order notification. Obitron reserves the right to remove any vendor found to be non-compliant.

By creating an account on the Obitron Platform, customers agree to receive newsletters and promotional communications from Obitron. These may include updates on new products, vendor promotions, platform news, and exclusive offers. Customers may opt out of marketing communications at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any newsletter email or by updating their notification preferences in their account settings. Opting out of marketing emails does not affect transactional communications related to orders, account activity, or platform updates, which will continue to be sent as necessary.

All payments are made directly to Obitron, not to individual vendors. Funds are held by the Platform and released to vendors only after successful delivery confirmation. Obitron manages all delivery logistics and is the merchant-facing entity for all transactions.

All deliveries are managed exclusively by Obitron through third-party logistics partners. Vendors do not deliver directly to customers. Obitron will make reasonable efforts to ensure timely delivery but is not liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond its control.

Customers may request a return or refund where a product received does not match the listing description or is found to be defective. All disputes are handled by Obitron's customer support team. Obitron reserves the right to investigate and make a final determination on all refund requests.

Users of the Platform may not:

List or purchase counterfeit or stolen goods; engage in fraudulent transactions; misrepresent product descriptions or conditions; attempt to circumvent the Platform by conducting transactions outside of it; or use the Platform for any unlawful purpose.

Obitron is a marketplace platform and is not the manufacturer or original seller of any listed product. To the fullest extent permitted by Nigerian law, Obitron shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the Platform or any products purchased through it.

All content on the Obitron Platform, including logos, branding, and platform design, is the property of Obitron and may not be reproduced or used without express written permission.

Obitron reserves the right to update these Terms of Use at any time. Continued use of the Platform following any such update constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. Users will be notified of significant changes via the Platform or registered email.

These Terms of Use are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Nigerian courts.
